Had a career break of two or more years and looking to get back into work? Our returners programme could be just for you. Whatever the reason for your career break, our six-month ‘returnship’ programme allows talented professionals like you to return to work on a structured programme.

Returning to work

We know that returning to work after a long break can be exciting but also daunting and challenging. We want to make the move back into a work environment as smooth and successful as possible for you.

Our programme is for people who have taken a career break for two plus years and are looking to restart their career whether it be in a similar role to before your career break or in something completely different. At the end of programme there is the opportunity to remain with us and continue in your new role.

We offer a package of support and opportunities to help you every step of the way with your return to work, including:

  • the opportunity to return to work and grow, both professionally and personally
  • access to coaching sessions from our external provider
  • a mentor from within the business
  • an opportunity to take part in business insight sessions with guest speakers that will provide the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the company
  • a buddy from our returners alumni
  • flexible working arrangements
  • access to great benefits such as pension, childcare vouchers and holiday club schemes

What we're looking for

We’re looking for people who share our values. Not all our roles will require you to have previous experience in the area you're applying for. We value transferable skills and the breadth of knowledge and experience you could bring.

What you've been doing during your career break and the skills you’ve acquired during this time are just as important to us as your previous work experience.

How to apply

We recruit once a year for our programme. We'll be recruiting next in September 2020 with roles due to start in January 2021.

We have different roles available for each programme so register for job alerts to hear about the roles we have in our next programme.

Once you’ve found a role you’d link to apply for simply upload your CV and wait to hear from us. If you're successful in gaining an interview we'll be in touch to let you know the details.

The interview will last around an hour where we'll ask you some questions to find out more about what you’ve been doing and how you could be a fit for us. Of course we also want to make sure we’re a fit for you too, so you will also have the opportunity to ask us some questions whether you want to know more about us as an business, more about the role you’d be doing or the team you’d be working in, we’re happy to answer any of your questions.
